Description
In the dawning of your newness
my sense it did advise
to stay away and play it safe
don't look into your eyes.
But never ever did I know
such warmth from tender lips.
Nor have I ever had a thrill
from hands upon my hips.
You pulled away so I could see
your want on bended knee,
that woke a million butterflies
and set them flying free.

One night, a Chinese sage had a dream in which he was a butterfly fluttering over meadows and gardens. When he woke up, he sat at the edge of his bed and said to himself, "Am I a human who just dreamed he was a butterfly or am I a butterfly who is now dreaming he's a human? good question. I'm reminded of a statement by Edgar Alan Poe : "All that we are or seem to be is a dream within a dream." Life is such a profound mystery, isn't it. In the words of the 20th century philosopher, Alan Watts, "The mystery of life is not a problem or a puzzle to be solved. It's a reality to be experienced."
